Tragic Loss: Family Pleads for Help in Hunt for Sarah’s Killer

The family of Sarah, whose identity has yet to be formally confirmed, have spoken out in a heartbreaking statement today, Thursday 11 March. They described their “beautiful daughter” as “bright and beautiful,” a “kind and thoughtful” soul who always put others first.

Family Issues Tearful Appeal

“Sarah was strong, principled, and a shining example to us all,” the family said. “She was a wonderful daughter and sister who brought immense joy to our lives. We are so proud of her.”

They thanked friends, supporters, and especially Sarah’s tireless friends who are helping during this “awful time.” The family also expressed gratitude to the police for their ongoing efforts.

“We are now pleading with the public to come forward with any information, no matter how small,” they added. “Please speak to the police. Thank you.”

Met Officer Arrested Over Kidnap and Murder

A man suspected of kidnapping and murdering Sarah remains in custody. The suspect, a serving Metropolitan Police officer in his 40s, was arrested on the evening of Tuesday, 9 March.

He has had his detention extended following a hearing at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court. Meanwhile, a woman in her 30s, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released on bail. She is due back at a police station in mid-April.

Specialist Crime detectives are leading the probe, backed by hundreds of Met officers and support from kent-police/" title="Kent Police" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Kent Police.
