Judges Slam Smith’s “Deliberate Disregard”
Three senior judges heard the case and slapped on an extra four years, sending Smith back behind bars for 12 years. Lady Justice Sharp tore into Smith during the hearing, saying she showed a “deliberate disregard” for her daughter’s welfare.
Partner Gets Longest Sentence for Star’s Murder
Smith wasn’t alone in the dock. Her partner, Savannah Brockhill, 28, was convicted alongside her and locked up for a minimum of 25 years for the brutal murder of little Star.
