Teenager Fatally Stabbed in Shocking Plashet Park Brawl

Police rushed to Plashet Park, E7 at 7.38pm on Saturday, 27 July, after reports of a vicious fight.

Officers found a young man suffering from stab wounds. Despite emergency first aid and ambulance treatment, the 20-year-old sadly died at the scene.

Two More Teens Injured in Brutal Attack

At the scene, police also discovered two teenage boys. One had stab injuries, the other suffered head wounds. Both were taken to hospital and are in stable condition – thankfully not life-threatening.

Murder Probe Underway as Police Hunt Suspects

Superintendent Dion Brown, overseeing Newham policing, said:

“I know this tragic and violent loss of life will cause a good deal of upset among the local community. I share their sadness and concern, and I send my deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the young man who was killed.

“A murder investigation is underway, led by skilled detectives and supported by officers across the Met. This investigation will be thorough and forensic in nature.

“I urge anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to come forward. We are determined to bring those responsible to justice.”

Local residents can expect increased police presence in the coming days to offer support and reassurance.

London Ambulance Service Statement

A London Ambulance spokesperson confirmed:

“We were called at 7.38pm on 27 July to a stabbing at the junction of Woodhouse Grove and Tennyson Avenue, Manor Park. Ambulance crews, an incident response officer, a clinical team manager, and the Air Ambulance were dispatched. We treated three people at the scene and took two to hospital. Sadly, despite our best efforts, one patient was pronounced dead on-site.”
