Teen Injured After Encounter at Kitty’s Field

Police are urgently hunting for witnesses after a 13-year-old boy suffered serious leg and pelvic injuries in Worthing’s Kitty’s Field park. The youngster was approached by four boys aged 13 to 15 around 3.30pm on Tuesday, 8 September, who asked to push him on a swing. He agreed – but shortly after, he fell hard onto the ground.

Potentially Life-Changing Injuries

The fall caused significant trauma, with the boy rushed to hospital where he remains in a serious condition. A passing member of the public helped him before emergency services arrived.

Police Seek Group of Four Teenage Boys

The group involved are described as white boys, one notably tanned, medium build, with dark blond ‘curtains’ hairstyle, wearing a grey Nike T-shirt. Detective David Mullins said:

“We want to speak to these boys and anyone who witnessed the incident to get the full story and see if any offences were committed.”
