Massive Haul of 3D Printed Gun Parts Seized in London Raid

In one of the biggest crackdowns on 3D printed firearms in the UK, cops swooped on a North West London home last Friday, October 7. Officers from the Met’s elite Operation Viper team uncovered a stash of gun components ready to be turned into deadly weapons.

Met Police Strike Big Blow Against 3D Gun Crime

Commander Paul Brogden said: “This operation shows we’re relentless in targeting those trying to flood London’s streets with lethal firearms. We found large numbers of parts that could create weapons. It’s clear 3D printed firearms are being manufactured for sale – an emerging and evolving threat.”

Two Men Arrested Over Firearm Offences

  • Two men, one in his 20s and another in his 40s, were arrested during the raid.
  • They were questioned at a North London police station.
  • Both have now been released on bail pending further investigations in November.
