Wrong-Way Rider Sparks Collision
A motorcycle rider was spotted heading the wrong way down a one-way street before crashing into a vehicle on Newcomen Road, Portsmouth, earlier today.
Paramedics and Police on Scene
Paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service assessed the biker at the scene. He was then handed over to police and arrested.
Was the Bike Stolen?
It’s unclear if the motorcycle is stolen, but locals claim the bike has been seen roaming the area without helmets for days. One resident said, “The bike has been riding around for a few days without helmets, which they believe may have been stolen.”
Road Reopened After Recovery
The motorcycle has now been recovered, and Newcomen Road is open to traffic once again.
