Child Suffers Serious Facial Injuries

A young boy from Nuneaton, Warwickshire, was violently attacked by a dog on Thursday, suffering severe facial wounds that required immediate surgery. The horrifying attack took place inside a home on Tryan Road.

Dog Seized and Destroyed

Authorities acted fast, seizing and destroying the dog responsible for the vicious mauling. Police confirmed the incident in a Facebook statement, saying: “The dog has been seized and destroyed.”

Investigation Underway

The Nuneaton and Bedworth Police launched an investigation into the attack which happened in the Camp Hill area on the evening of April 6. A spokesperson said:

“We’re investigating an incident in which a child was bitten by a dog. The child suffered facial injuries that required hospital treatment. Enquiries are ongoing.”

Residents in the area remain on edge as police continue to piece together what led to the brutal dog attack.
