Man Stabbed in Southampton Woodland Path Attack

Police are hunting for witnesses after an 18-year-old man was seriously stabbed on a wooded path linking Monks Way to Octavia Road in Southampton. The attack happened just after 5pm on Monday, 11 October.

Victim Hospitalised with Serious Injuries

The young man suffered stab wounds to his torso and was rushed to hospital. Thankfully, police say his injuries are serious but not life-threatening.

No Arrests Yet, Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Officers stayed at the scene on Tuesday, 12 October, conducting enquiries. So far, no arrests have been made, but police are following all leads.

“We understand this incident is concerning to the local community and appeal to anyone who witnessed the event to come forward,” said a spokesperson.

Dashcam Footage Could Crack Case

Police are especially keen to hear from anyone driving in the area around 5pm Monday who may have dashcam footage.

The Southampton North Neighbourhood Team will be patrolling the area and encourage anyone with information or concerns to approach them directly.
