Shocking Burglary in Abingdon: Trio Threaten Elderly Couple with Screwdrivers
Police are hunting for witnesses after a terrifying aggravated burglary in Abingdon last night.
Three Men Break In Through Rear Door
The chilling attack happened around 6pm on 12 November at a home on Anna Pavlova Close. Three men forced their way in through the back door. Inside, they threatened the occupants – a man and woman in their seventies – with screwdrivers before ransacking the house.
iPad and Door Keys Stolen, Victims Unharmed
The burglars made off with an iPad and a set of door keys. Thankfully, the elderly couple were not injured during the ordeal.
Police Appeal for Info on Suspects
Detective Constable Carly Milward from Abingdon police said: “This would have been a very frightening ordeal for the victims. We are investigating the incident and urge anyone with information to come forward.”
