Late-Night Blaze Rocks PM Keir Starmer’s Private Home
A shocking late-night fire tore through a residential property in North West London linked to Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Emergency services raced to the scene after flames were spotted at the front entrance just after 1am on Monday, 12 May.
Swift Action as Fire Quickly Doused
Firefighters from Kentish Town Fire Station blasted the blaze under control within 22 minutes, completely extinguishing it by 1.33am. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the incident. Police established a cordon and launched an urgent arson investigation while damage was confirmed to the property’s entrance.
“Damage was caused to the property’s entrance. Nobody was hurt. The fire is being investigated, and cordons remain in place while enquiries continue,” a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said.
No.10 Praises Emergency Services, Keeps Quiet on Motive
A No.10 spokesperson expressed thanks to the emergency teams tackling the blaze but refused to comment further due to the ongoing investigation.
“The Prime Minister thanks the emergency services for their work. The incident is subject to a live investigation and we will therefore not be commenting further.”
Home Linked to Starmer Family as Police Seek Public Help
The London property, formerly the family home of Sir Keir Starmer and his wife Victoria, remains privately owned even though the couple now live at 10 Downing Street.
Detectives have appealed for anyone with information or footage to come forward, urging the public to call 101 quoting reference CAD 441/12 May.
Political Context Sparks Speculation Online
The fire erupted just hours before Starmer unveiled Labour’s major immigration overhaul. This timing has fuelled online chatter about the fire’s possible motive—although police have not commented on any political links.
