£Thousands in Cash and Designer Gear Seized in Major Drug Bust
Police have recovered thousands of pounds in cash, designer clothes, and shoes in a crackdown linked to drug supply and money laundering.
Suspicious Vehicle Sparks Police Action
At around 4.55pm on Thursday 24 March 2022, plain-clothes officers from Tunbridge Wells Community Policing Team spotted a suspicious car in Knights Wood. The 20-year-old driver was stopped and searched, resulting in the seizure of cannabis and two mobile phones.
Cash and Luxury Items Confiscated at Linked Address
Officers then raided a nearby property tied to the man. Inside, they found multiple bags stuffed with large amounts of cash, alongside several pairs of designer trainers and coats, all seized as evidence.
Two Arrested for Drugs and Money Laundering
A 22-year-old woman was arrested later in connection with the case. Both suspects remain in custody, facing charges over drug supply and money laundering offences.
