Bus Driver Injured After Man Smashes Window in Sittingbourne Assault
Shocking Attack on London Road Bus
Police have released CCTV footage as they hunt a suspect in a violent assault and criminal damage case. The drama unfolded around 4.45pm on Tuesday, 22 April 2025, at the traffic lights on London Road, Sittingbourne.
A man tried to board a stationary bus but was refused entry by the driver. Furious, the suspect allegedly smashed a bus window, showering the driver with glass and causing multiple cuts.
Kent Police Launch Urgent Investigation
Kent Police are appealing for anyone who recognises the man seen on CCTV to come forward. The suspect’s identity could be key to solving the case.
“We are asking anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV image, or who has any information that may assist, to contact us immediately,” said a Kent Police spokesperson.
