The heartbreaking first picture of Filipe, the much-loved 20-year-old victim of a stabbing in South London, has been released. Filipe was attacked around 6pm on Saturday, April 15, inside a shop on bustling Norwood Road, Tulse Hill. Police found him critically wounded at the scene.
Family pays touching tribute to ‘generous, funny’ son
Filipe’s family described him as “one of the funniest people you could meet” who always put loved ones first. “He would give his last pound to someone in need and share everything he had,” they said. They added, “His loss will be felt strongly forever. His friends will miss his company, jokes, laugh, and grin for the rest of their lives.”
“Filipe was a very spiritual person, using this to find himself and grow into the strong young man we knew he would be,” they said sombrely.
Fundraiser set up as police hunt killer
Filipe’s family has launched a fundraiser to give him a fitting send-off and are urging those who knew him or wish to help to donate. Meanwhile, detectives have opened a murder investigation but made no arrests yet.
Police appeal for witnesses following brutal attack
