Tragic Croydon Blaze Kills Three Men, One Fighting for Life

A devastating house fire on Sanderstead Road, Croydon, has claimed the lives of three men and left another in critical condition.

Fire Erupts Late on December 29

Emergency services raced to the scene just before 11pm on December 29. Two men, including one believed to be in his 40s, were pronounced dead at the scene. A third man in his 30s was rushed to hospital but tragically passed away the next day, December 30.

One Man Still Critical, Another Discharged

As of January 1, police confirmed one man remains in life-threatening condition in hospital. Meanwhile, a fifth man taken to hospital has now been discharged after medical checks.

Investigation Underway

The Metropolitan Police and London Fire Brigade are working closely to get to the bottom of the tragedy. More updates are expected as the probe continues.
