Double Death Shocks Camberwell
Police were called to Marchwood Close, Camberwell (SE5), at 11.44pm on Friday, 2 November. A man and woman were found injured, believed to have fallen from an eighth-floor flat. Victims Identified
The deceased have been named as 33-year-olds Renata Poncova and Tony Taylor, who lived together in the flat. Their families have been informed. A post-mortem on 7 November confirmed multiple injuries consistent with a fall from height.
Police Treat Case as Suspicious but No Suspects at Large
The case is under investigation, led by Detective Inspector Phil Coster, who said:
“We’re appealing to anyone who knew Renata and Tony, especially those who saw or heard anything suspicious before their deaths, to come forward. Evidence from the flat and reports of a disturbance beforehand suggest suspicious circumstances. We’re not currently looking for anyone else, but we want to understand exactly what happened.”
