Woman Brutally Attacked with Axe in Ilford Home
Police were called to a chilling scene in Ilford yesterday afternoon. At 2.08pm on Friday, 9 April, the London Ambulance Service alerted officers about a woman attacked with an axe inside a residential address on Princes Road.
Victim in Critical Condition
Emergency crews found the woman, in her 50s, seriously injured. She received urgent treatment at the scene before being rushed to hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
Man Arrested on Suspicion of Attempted Murder
A 47-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. He is currently in police custody as detectives continue their investigations.
