Man Stabbed to Death in Early Morning Richmond Bridge Brawl
Police were called just after 4am on Saturday, 26 November to a violent fight on Richmond Bridge. They found Reece, who had been stabbed — believed to be with a piece of broken glass.
Officers tried CPR before paramedics arrived, but despite their efforts, Reece died later that morning. His family has been informed and is receiving specialist support. A post-mortem will be held in due course. So far, no arrests have been made.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Video Footage
Detective Chief Inspector Katherine Goodwin, leading the investigation, said:
“We believe several people witnessed the attack, and some may have recorded it on their phones. Anyone who hasn’t spoken to us yet, please come forward immediately. We want to give Reece’s family answers, and the public’s help is vital.”
Authorities Vow Full Support and Extra Patrols
Chief Superintendent Lis Chapple, head of local policing, added:
“My thoughts are with Reece and his family. We are fully backing the Specialist Crime team as they probe this tragic incident. A crime scene will stay in place, and officers will patrol the area to speak with locals and gather information.”
