Teen Stabbed to Death in Paddington: Ahmed Beker Dies at Scene
A brutal stabbing in Paddington Green, W2, has sparked a full murder probe. Police were called to the scene at 9.13pm on Friday, 26 February after reports of a stabbing.
Emergency services, including London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, rushed to aid a 19-year-old man with serious injuries. Despite their efforts, Ahmed Beker, a local resident, was pronounced dead at 10pm on the spot.
Family Devastated as Murder Inquiry Opens
Ahmed’s family has been informed of the tragedy. A post-mortem is scheduled for Sunday, 28 February, at Westminster Mortuary to determine the exact cause of death.
Police Hunt Witnesses & Warn of Increased Patrols
Homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation. They are urging anyone with images, videos, or information about the stabbing or events leading up to it to come forward.
A Section 60 order, which grants officers expanded search powers, is currently in force in the area until 2pm Sunday, 28 February. Expect to see extra police patrols in the coming days.
No arrests have been made yet as detectives continue their inquiries.
