Tragedy Strikes in Orpington House Fire
Detectives are probing the death of a woman following a blaze in Orpington. Firefighters were called to a house on Cray Avenue at 11.15pm on Monday, 28 May.
Woman Dies at Scene
A 45-year-old woman was found at the scene and sadly pronounced dead. Police have informed her next of kin.
Three Others Hospitalised
- A 44-year-old man is in a life-threatening condition.
- Two youths – a boy and a girl – are also in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
All occupants are believed to be family members. The South Area Command Unit and London Fire Brigade are leading the investigation into the fire’s cause.
