Police Hunt for Photos After Deadly Crowd Surge at London Gig

The Met Police are urgently seeking photos and videos from the tragic crowd surge that rocked a London music event on Thursday, 15 December.

Two Dead, One Critically Injured in Horror Incident

Detective Superintendent Dave Kennett, of the Met’s Specialist Crime Command, said the surge caused “tragic” consequences. Two people, 33-year-old Rebecca Ikumelo and 23-year-old Gaby Hutchinson, died in hospital days after the chaos. A 21-year-old woman remains critically ill.

“The surge in the crowd resulted in two deaths and critical injuries to a third person,” Kennett said. “We need to know why this happened — for the families of those who never came home and to keep future concertgoers safe. If you have anything to share, please get in touch.”

Singer Asake’s London Show Marred by Disaster

Nigerian Afrobeats star Asake was due to perform at the third and final show of his London gigs that night. Thousands packed the venue, where the deadly surge occurred.

Many were treated for serious injuries at the scene by staff, police, and 123 on 0800 555 111.

The police are desperate for witnesses to ensure justice and safety for future events.
