Colchester Murder Arrests After Tragic Late-Night Killing
A 20-year-old woman from Colchester was arrested on suspicion of murder late on Friday, 11 December. She remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
Man in 20s Found Dead on Greenstead Estate
Police were called to Affleck Road on the Greenstead estate shortly after midnight on 11 December. Tragically, a man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene.
A teenager found in the property suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
Another Arrest Made Over Murder and Attempted Murder
A local 25-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. He remains in custody as detectives piece together what happened.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage
Officers want to hear from anyone who heard disturbances or saw suspicious activity late on Thursday 10 December or in the early hours of Friday 11 December.
