Chaos hit Tottenham Lane, N8, on Tuesday night when a white Renault van smashed into a blue BMW estate.

Police were called to the scene at 8.42pm following reports of the crash. Five people were injured—two treated on the spot and three rushed to hospital. Thankfully, none suffered life-threatening injuries.

A man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop. He remains in custody as police continue their investigation.
