Tragic Hastings Crash: Motorcyclist Sought After Fatal Collision
Sussex Police are on the hunt for witnesses after a 65-year-old pedestrian was killed in a horror crash in Hastings. The collision with a motorcycle happened near The Bridge Community Centre on Priory Road at around 1pm on Sunday, May 5.
Man Sadly Dies, Driver Cleared
The victim, a local man, tragically lost his life at the scene. Police initially treated the driver for causing death by dangerous driving, but he has now been released without charge. No further action will be taken against him.
Police Release Image, Plead for Dashcam Footage
To crack the case, Sussex Police have put out a photo of the motorbike involved. They want to speak to the rider urgently, as he could hold vital clues. Authorities are also urging motorists who were near Priory Road at the time to check their dashcams and come forward.
