Murder Probe Underway After Man’s Body Found in Feltham Park
A murder investigation is in full swing after joggers in Feltham’s Hanworth Park discovered the body of 19-year-old Tyler Donnelly early Thursday morning.
Young Man Stabbed to Death in Local Park
Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie from the Met’s Homicide Command revealed the tragic details. “We were called just after 7:40am about a man’s body found in Hanworth Park. The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Tyler Donnelly, a local from Feltham.”
Tyler left home at around 9:10pm on 1 January, cycling along Elmwood Avenue before entering the park – but he never came back.
“If you were in the park or nearby during that time, or travelling along Elmwood Avenue, please get in touch. Tyler was wearing dark clothes and riding a grey bike,” added DCI Howie.
Community Urged to Come Forward
Tyler’s family and friends are devastated by the heartbreak, with specialist officers providing support. Police say there have been no arrests yet, and the crime scene remains cordoned off as investigations continue.
Chief Superintendent Sean Wilson, in charge of Hounslow policing, said, “It’s devastating to lose another young life in such a needless way. Anyone with information about who did this must contact the investigation team.”
He added reassurance for locals: “Our officers will increase patrols in the area. Please speak to them if you have concerns or call your neighbourhood policing team.”
