Massive Fire Response to Tackle Inferno
Firefighters responded fast, scrambling six fire engines and around 40 crew members to the scene on June 5. They deployed a 32-metre turntable ladder to douse the flames from above and bring the fire under control.
Crews remained on site into the night, conducting damping down operations to stop the blaze reigniting. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported after the intense battle.
Cause Under Investigation Amidst Emergency Services Strain
The cause of the devastating fire is still being probed by authorities. The rapid intervention by firefighters prevented even worse destruction, highlighting their vital role in protecting lives and property.
This incident follows an earlier massive blaze in Hackney, where nearly 100 firefighters battled flames, showing the huge demands on London’s emergency services lately.
