Gunshots Rock Canning Town in Early Morning Chaos
Police have launched a full investigation after a shooting ripped through Canning Town in the early hours of Saturday morning. Emergency services rushed to Rogers Road, E16, following reports of gunfire just after 2am on 26 October.
Two Men Hospitalised After Horror Shooting
The London Ambulance Service arrived swiftly, treating two men with gunshot wounds. One victim is in critical condition, while the other suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Both were rushed to hospital – one to a major trauma centre.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 2.05am today (26 October) to reports of a shooting on Rogers Road, Canning Town. We sent ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer, and a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance. We treated two people at the scene and took one patient to a major trauma centre as a priority and the other to a local hospital.”

The Metropolitan Police have sealed off the area and ramped up patrols to reassure local residents. No arrests have been made so far, but detectives are piecing together the events that led to the shocking attack.
