Man Stabbed Multiple Times in Shocking Thornton Heath Attack
A man was rushed to hospital by air ambulance after a brutal stabbing inside a convenience store in Thornton Heath, police have confirmed.
Attempted Murder Probe Underway
The terrifying attack happened at the Beulah Corner Express on Beulah Road. Paramedics and police were called to the scene at around 3.35pm on Saturday, 8 January.
A crime scene cordon was quickly set up outside the shop, with investigators launching an attempted murder investigation. The victim, believed to be in his 20s, was found with multiple stab wounds.
London Air Ambulance Touches Down at Local School
The London Air Ambulance landed on the grounds of nearby Beulah Road Infant School to rush the critically injured man to a south London hospital. He remains in critical condition.
Suspect Arrested Near Scene
Police arrested a man close to the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. No further details about the suspect have been released. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, believed aged in his 20s, suffering stab injuries. He has been taken to a south London hospital for treatment; he remains there in a critical condition.”
