Man slashed by hoodies on pushbikes on canal in Aldermaston

Police have sealed off part of a canal towpath after a man was slashed in broad daylight attack. Officers from Thames Valley Police and Paramedics from South Central ambulance rushed to Frouds Lane Aldermaston on Sunday evening following the brutal attack. The man was treated at the scene and has since been taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital Reading for treatment. Police have launched a probe into the stabbing and have not yet made any arrests. Officers are appealing for those who may have been in the area or witnessed the assault to contact them on 101.
