Man Suffers Facial Burns in Shocking Petrol Bomb Attack
A 37-year-old man was left with serious facial burns after a petrol bomb was thrown in his face and set alight in South Norwood on Thursday, February 13.

Police were called at 2:45 PM following horrific reports of the petrol bomb attack on Albert Road, South Norwood. Emergency teams, including the London Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene where they found the man badly injured.
Paramedics treated the victim’s burn injuries on site before rushing him to hospital for urgent care.
Victim Stable as Police Make Arrest
Thankfully, the man’s injuries are not life-threatening, officials confirmed. Meanwhile, a 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and is currently in police custody as investigations continue.
“We were called at 2.58pm on Thursday 13 February to reports of an incident at the junction of Ferndale Road and Albert Road, South Norwood,” a London Ambulance Service spokesperson said. “We treated two people. One was taken to hospital and the other was discharged at the scene.”
