CCTV Snap Released in Ashford Assault Probe
Kent Police have issued a CCTV image of a man who may hold key info about a violent attack on Ashford High Street.
Brutal Head Injury in Early Morning Brawl
The assault happened at around 1am on 9 September 2020. Two men reportedly attacked a third victim, a man in his 40s, leaving him with a serious head injury. He needed hospital treatment following the violent incident.
Suspect Charged and Held in Custody
Leigh Shilling, 43, from Hythe Road, Ashford, has been charged with actual bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon. He’s been in custody since 11 September and is set to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on 12 October 2020.
Police Seek Public Help
Detectives want to identify the man captured on CCTV. Anyone who recognises him is urged to contact Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/161223/20.
