Detectives from the Met’s elite Flying Squad are urgently searching for a man wanted in connection with an alleged kidnap.
Victim Safe After Rapid Police Action
At around 5pm on Friday, 28 February, police were tipped off about a possible abduction. A swift operation was launched, and the victim was rescued safe and well.
Meet Abdur Rahat – The Man Police Want to Find
Following extensive enquiries, officers have identified 23-year-old Abdur Rahat as a person of interest. He is about 5ft 9ins tall and has a very heavy build.
Rahat is believed to have links to Bethnal Green, where he may currently reside.
