- The full closure runs from junction 23 (B1024 London Road, Kelvedon South) to junction 24 (Kelvedon North)
- Snarls stretch northbound back to Witham (J21) and southbound all the way to Marks Tey (J25)
- All vehicles have been held since the fire broke out at the north end of the Kelvedon bypass
