A murder probe is underway after a man in his 50s was found dead in a North Staffordshire house.

Staffordshire Police rushed to a property on Park Avenue, Werrington, just after 9pm on Wednesday, 26 November. Tragically, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Five Stoke-on-Trent Suspects Held Over Murder
Five people from Stoke-on-Trent have been arrested. They include two men aged 31, a 29-year-old man, a 22-year-old woman, and a teenage boy. All remain in custody on suspicion of murder.

The victim’s family has been informed. Police confirm there is no wider danger to the public. The case is now with the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
