Knife-Wielding Duo Attack Man in Twyford Drive Horror
Just before 11pm on 16 February, a man was attacked on Twyford Drive by two strangers – one brandishing a knife. The victim had just left a friend’s house when the terrifying ordeal began.
Victim Bundled Into Red Car and Robbed
The pair forced the man into a red car, stole his jacket, and tried to snatch his phone and ring. Luckily, he escaped but suffered bruises to his face and neck.
Knife-Wielding Suspect Tries Burglar Strike Nearby
Meanwhile, the knife-wielding attacker jumped out of the car and broke into a property on Chilcomb Close through a back window. Inside, he demanded valuables from a 19-year-old occupant but fled when police were called.
Police Seek Three Men After Shocking Twin Crimes
Officers have recovered Ring doorbell footage showing a suspect they want to speak with. He’s described as light-skinned, possibly Asian, around 5ft 10ins, wearing all black with a hood and balaclava, speaking with a local accent.
“We know the image isn’t clear, but someone might recognise him,” police said.
Other suspects described but not pictured include:
- White male in light grey clothes, big black coat, black gloves, with a local accent.
- Man with a Scouse accent wearing all black and a black balaclava.
