Man Set on Fire in Shocking Kingsmead Road Incident

Kent Police rushed to Kingsmead Road’s leisure centre grassland at 4.30pm on Monday, 15 August after a man’s clothes caught fire in a terrifying blaze.

Victim Hospitalised After Clothes Ablaze

The man suffered serious injuries and was immediately taken to hospital. Detectives are investigating the disturbing incident and are urging witnesses to come forward.

Police Seek Key Witness: Teen Boy in Sportswear

Officers want to identify a boy believed to have been nearby when the fire started. Described as white, 13-14 years old, about 5ft 4in to 5ft 6in tall with a medium build. He wore thin black-framed glasses, brown hair, black trainers, grey tracksuit bottoms with white stripes, and a grey and black hoodie with white lines on the arms.

He was part of a group of around ten boys, all aged 12-16 and dressed in sportswear carrying backpacks.
