Police Truck Rammed in Shocking South London Hit-and-Run

A yellow and black Ford Transit tipper truck sped into a police car in Stockwell, South London, leaving officers injured and the vehicle missing — until now.

Hit-and-Run on Landor Road

On Friday, 15 April at around 10.50am, officers in a marked police car tried to stop a Ford Transit tipper truck on Landor Road. The stop was routine, triggered by the truck’s reckless driving and noticeable damage.

But instead of pulling over, the truck reversed at high speed and smashed into the police car’s bonnet with a powerful impact.

Officers Hurt, Suspect Truck Vanishes

One officer was rushed to hospital with head and hand injuries but has since been discharged. Another was treated at the scene by paramedics. After the crash, the truck driver fled, forcing officers to launch a search, but the vehicle was nowhere to be found.

Police Find Abandoned Vehicle, Hunt Continues

On Monday, 18 April, detectives recovered the truck somewhere in south London — exact location withheld for operational reasons. It is now seized for further investigation as police chase all leads to identify those behind the wheel.
