Tributes Pour In for 15-Year-Old Music Producer Stabbed to Death in Hackney
The family of 15-year-old Tashaun Jones, known as Dotz, has paid heartbreaking tribute after the aspiring music producer was stabbed to death in Hackney last night.
Tashaun was attacked by a gang in a local park on Wednesday evening. Paramedics fought to save him but he was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

Tashaun’s devastated mother Michelle shared photos on Facebook, writing simply: “Our prince”. His father Kevin echoed the grief, saying: “To our Prince, I love you.”
The 15-year-old Arsenal fan had been a pupil at Hackney New School before being expelled last year, according to friends.
The School Expulsion Trap
Friends revealed Tashaun’s life took a grim turn after leaving school. One said: “He got kicked out about a year ago and then he changed. We’d be going to school and see him heading the other way in his tracksuit.”
They added, “When kids get kicked out of school, they think there’s no hope left. It just goes downhill. The only other kids they can hang with have also been kicked out. It’s a cycle that’s hard to break.”
