Two Teens Stabbed in Lewisham Knife Attack – Police Launch Hunt
At 2pm on Thursday, January 26, police and London Ambulance Service (LAS) rushed to Bondfield Road, SE13, after reports of a stabbing.
Teen Victims Found With Knife Wounds
Officers arrived to find a 16-year-old boy seriously injured with multiple knife wounds. A 17-year-old male was also discovered suffering from slash wounds to his hand. Thankfully, neither teen’s injuries are life-threatening.
No Arrests Yet as Police Question Youngsters
So far, police have made no arrests. Several young people present at the scene have been approached for questioning. Investigations are ongoing.
Knife Crime Powers Activated to Tackle Violence
To keep the peace in the area, police have authorised Sections 60 and 35 powers under the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994. This allows stop-and-search without suspicion in the vicinity.
