Manhunt Underway for Attacker at Atherton Station
Police are urgently hunting Smith, 31, over a brutal robbery at Atherton station on 2 May. The suspect is wanted for questioning after he punched a woman in the stomach and snatched her purse.
Victim Hospitalised but OK
The victim was rushed to hospital following the vicious assault but thankfully suffered no lasting injuries. Officers say she was left shaken but is expected to make a full recovery.
Smith Still on the Loose
Despite extensive enquiries, cops have yet to track down Smith. He is believed to be local to the Atherton area and remains at large.
