Violent attack at Nottingham Esso: Man in 20s hospitalised

Man Assaulted at Early Hours in Whitemoor

Police raced to the Esso garage on Nuthall Road, Whitemoor, Nottingham, at 5.45am this Sunday (2 April) after a man in his 20s staggered into the shop seriously hurt. The victim was rushed to hospital, where he remains. Thankfully, his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Police Hunt Witnesses and Dash-Cam Footage

Detective Sergeant James Hirst confirmed the assault was violent and left the young man hospitalised. “We are investigating every moment before, during, and after this attack,” he said. Officers believe motorists driving on the busy road at that early hour may have dash-cam footage that could crack the case.

Large Police Presence, No Wider Threat

Watchful officers are patrolling the area today as inquiries continue. Police stress this was an isolated incident with no broader danger to the public. “If anyone has concerns or information, please talk to an officer,” added DS Hirst.
