Hunt On for Predator Who Abducted and Assaulted 12-Year-Old Boy

Police are urgently searching for a man after a horrific attack on a 12-year-old boy in Bromham, near Bedford. The youngster was snatched during a run and brutally raped in August 2018.

Gruesome Attack During Evening Run

The victim was jogging near Bromham Bridge at around 6pm when the man grabbed him from behind. The predator forced the boy into a nearby parked car — believed to be a black Ford Focus or Fiesta — and carried out the appalling assault.

After around 15 terrifying minutes, the brave child managed to flee and ran home, prompting an immediate police investigation.

Police Release E-Fit and Plead for Information

Bedfordshire Police have issued a detailed e-fit of the suspect, who is described as a ginger-haired man in his late 30s or early 40s, about 6ft tall, sporting stubble. He was last seen wearing black tracksuit bottoms and a zip-up hoodie.

Detective Constable Rebecca Goodman said: “It has taken great courage for a young boy to come forward now and report this shocking incident. This happened on a warm summer’s evening in a popular walking spot. Even though it was some time ago, we hope someone remembers something.”
