Big Drug Bust in Worthing: Rolex, Cash, and Cannabis Seized
Police Nab Two During Suspected Drug Deal
Police swooped on January 11 in Worthing, stopping a Renault Twingo on Tarring Road amid a suspected drug deal. Officers from the Specialist Enforcement Unit (SEU) arrested the 32-year-old driver from Littlehampton. Nearby on Eton Road, they also detained the 33-year-old passenger with no fixed address.
Major Hove Flat Search Yields Big Haul
The arrests sparked a broader probe leading officers to a flat on The Drive, Hove. There, they found a large stash of cannabis, a hefty pile of cash, and a luxury Rolex worth tens of thousands. All items were confiscated as evidence.
Two More Arrested in Crackdown
In total, four men are now in police custody — including two from Hove aged 29 and 30 — all suspected of possessing cannabis with intent to supply. All have been released on bail as investigations continue.
SEU Inspector Ollie Pullen said: “The flat search uncovered a large amount of drugs, cash, and a high-value Rolex. We’re targeting organised criminals using our roads to peddle drugs and cause harm in our communities.”
This bust is part of Sussex Police’s ongoing war on drug crime, aiming to smash organised gangs and keep communities safer.
