Fatal Crash on North Circular: Motorcyclist Killed in Horror Smash

Detectives are hunting for witnesses after a deadly crash on the North Circular near Great Cambridge Roundabout in Enfield.

Tragic Morning Collision

The crash happened just after 8:25am on Friday, 4 May, when a car collided with a motorbike. Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but the motorcyclist – a man in his 50s – was pronounced dead at 8:57am. His family have been informed.

Investigation Underway

A post-mortem and formal ID are pending. The car driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police. However, a 17-year-old passenger was arrested on suspicion of “opening a door to danger” and is currently held at an east London police station.

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

“There are still witnesses who have not yet come forward that we would very much like to speak to,” said Detective Constable Amy Trencher from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit. “If you have any information, no matter how small, please contact us. We also want motorists who may have dash cam footage of the collision to get in touch immediately.”
