Tragic Death of 11-Year-Old Cyclist in Bolton Bus Crash

A heartbreaking smash unfolded in Bolton yesterday afternoon. At about 1.40pm on Friday, police raced to Vernon Street after reports of a collision between a cyclist and a bus.

Young Cyclist Dies at Scene

The victim, an 11-year-old boy, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency services were unable to save him.

Investigation Underway, Driver Cooperating

No arrests have been made so far. The bus driver is fully cooperating with officers as they probe the tragic incident. A police cordon remains in place around Vernon Street and Prince Street while the investigation continues.
