Con Artist Targets Vulnerable Woman in Teversham
A crafty fraudster struck on Wednesday, 26 April at around 12.25pm in Teversham, South Cambridgeshire. He showed up unannounced at a woman’s home on Fulbourn Road, demanding £90 for gutter cleaning he never did.
Bold Break-In and Dodgy Deal
The man didn’t stop there. He invited himself inside and loitered for a few minutes. The woman, clearly rattled, handed over just £20. Before making his escape towards Teversham village centre, he promised to return the following week.
Police Hunt Fraudster with CCTV Clues
“This was a shameful fraud on a vulnerable woman and I would like to speak to the man in the CCTV images as I believe he can help us with our enquiries,” said PC Ryan Parker.
