Five Men Attack Woman in South London Park – Police Launch Appeal

Police are hunting five men after a woman was sexually assaulted in Burgess Park, Southwark, in the early hours of Saturday, 13 June.

Brutal Attack in Burgess Park

Between 2am and 3am, the woman was walking along Albany Road when the suspects jumped her. A fierce struggle broke out, but she fought off the attackers despite being sexually assaulted.

Suspect Descriptions Released

  • One man wore white trainers, light denim jeans, and a red hooded jacket. He had plaited hair.
  • A second suspect appeared to be in his 30s.

Officers from the Central South BCU are leading the investigation and have launched an extensive inquiry.
