A 23-year-old man has been rushed to a London major trauma centre after a stabbing on George Street, Croydon, earlier today, October 1. The attack happened at around 1:55 pm, triggering an immediate emergency response from police and ambulance crews.

Rapid Response from Emergency Services

The London Ambulance Service received the call at 1:53 pm and arrived within five minutes. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before transporting him to hospital as a priority. Authorities are currently awaiting updates on his condition.

“Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at about 13:55 hrs on Tuesday, 1 October to reports of a man stabbed on George Street in Croydon. Officers attended promptly. The man was taken to hospital by the LAS; we await an update on his condition. A scene is in place, and enquiries continue.”
