Met Police Plead for Help
Detective Chief Inspector Joanna Yorke from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command said, “We are still piecing together what happened in the fire last Thursday. We know several young people and residents were inside before the tragic death.”
Tragic Loss of 15-Year-Old Tiffany Regis
Post-mortem and ID checks at East Ham Mortuary on Saturday night haven’t confirmed the victim completely, but police believe the victim to be 15-year-old Tiffany Regis. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Newham Mayor Mourns Young Life Lost
Mayor Rokhsana Fiaz said, “Tiffany’s parents are going through unimaginable pain after losing their beloved daughter who brought so much joy. Everyone in Newham is deeply upset by this tragic loss.”
She added, “My thoughts are with her family and friends during this awful time. Please come forward if you have any information.”
