Police Hunt Predator After Schoolgirl Raped in North London Park

Detectives have launched a full-scale probe after a 14-year-old schoolgirl was allegedly raped in Chestnuts Park, Haringey, yesterday evening.

Man Approached Girl Before Attack

The teenager was walking through the park at around 7.10pm on Thursday when a man approached her, attempting to start a conversation. Moments later, she was allegedly attacked.

No Arrests Yet as Police Appeal for Information

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “Officers were called at 19:10hrs on 5 December after a 14-year-old was allegedly raped in Chestnuts Park. The attacker approached her before the assault. The victim alerted a member of the public who then called police.”

No arrests have been made so far, and cops are urging anyone with information to come forward.
