Schoolboy Stabbed in Broad Daylight at Bermondsey Park
A schoolboy was stabbed while walking with a man in Bermondsey Spa Gardens, south London, in broad daylight. Police rushed to the scene shortly after 3 p.m. on Monday, finding both victims wounded.
Rapid Emergency Response
The London Ambulance Service and Tactical Response Unit arrived within two minutes. Both the boy and the man were treated at the scene before being taken to a major trauma centre and another hospital. Scotland Yard confirmed their injuries are not life-threatening.
Arrest Made as Investigation Continues
A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray. He remains in custody while detectives probe the stabbing incident.
The London Ambulance Service said, “We were called at 3:03 p.m. to reports of a stabbing incident in Spa Road, SE1. We sent ambulance crews and Tactical Response Unit members.”
